Media Junction's Creative department is headed up by Jon Stephenson. Jon has over 20 years experience in creative advertising; starting his career as a creative copywriter at a host of above-the-line agencies including, Saatchi & Saatchi, TBWA, Ayer Barker and JWT, and worked on brands such as Absolute, Carlsberg and Uncle Bens. In the mid 1990's, Jon left music tour advertising agency, Sold Out, to form his own company with a client list of music promoters, record labels, event/management companies and advertising agencies; creatively producing campaigns, promos and events for Puma, Pernod Ricard, Nokia, Universal Records, Sony BMG and EMI. Jon joined Media Junction in May 2009 as Creative Director.
Jon's 'number two' is Nick Linford, who has worked in graphic design for a very, very long time; in fact, since long, long before computers were invented. He has designed numerous classic album covers, ranging from sleeves for The Clash to Abba, to the classic punk compilation Sound of the Suburbs to sleeves for David Bowie and the Pet Shop Boys. Often referred to as 'The Logo King', Nick has designed a whole host of legendary logos that are known by every household in the UK, ranging from Big Brother to the Apprentice, from Judas Priest to Elton John, from the Frank Skinner Show to Harry Hill's TV Burp. In fact, Nick's work for Harry Hill over the years was arranged in to a collage by Harry's wife, Magda, and hangs in the Tate Gallery in Liverpool, right next to Peter Blake's iconic Sgt. Pepper album sleeve.
